🌄 Scenic Spot Introduction

Huanglu Red-Yao Village (World-Famous Long-Hair Village)

Huanglu Village is a settlement of Red-Yao ethnic minority. Local women keep the age-old tradition of growing extremely long hair, holding the Guinness record for “group with longest hair”. You can watch the traditional hair-combing performance and admire unique Red-Yao costumes and ornaments. Wooden stilt-houses line the river creating authentic mountain-village atmosphere.

Ping’an Zhuang Village

Ping’an is the earliest-developed Zhuang village within Longji area, famous for its elegant curved terrace patterns. Wooden stilt-houses cling to mountain slopes.

Hiking paths are well-maintained with gentle slopes; suitable for casual sightseeing travellers.

Jinkeng Dazhai · Golden Buddha Peak Viewpoint

Jinkeng Dazhai belongs to Red-Yao people and forms the largest terrace zone in Longji. Layers of terraces climb from valley bottom all the way up to mountain summits with wide open panoramic outlook. Golden Buddha Peak (No.3 Viewpoint) is the highest overlook here offering full 360-degree views over thousands of terraced fields. Visitors with limited physical strength can take cable-car directly to the viewpoint and skip exhausting mountain climbing; energetic guests may hike on foot instead. Vivid green in summer and rolling golden rice waves in autumn make it ideal for grand landscape photos.
